How to Pose for a Couples Photoshoot

Whenever Daniel and I take photos together it always feels so natural and they usually come out so well. So I decided to take a look at our past photoshoots and see what reoccurring poses we have done that turn out well and I narrowed it down to our top 5 poses!

Here are 5 Poses that you can do as a couple for a photoshoot!

1. The Cradle

Hold your significant other in the cradle position. The one being held should kick your feet up as well as one arm in the air. This is our absolute favorite pose to do as a couple. It always comes out so cute and we always have a good time with this one. Our best advice is to just have fun with it, the more natural, the better!

2. The Gaze

Don't want to make a big gesture but don't know how to pose? Another option is to stare into each others eyes. Smile and look like you love each other! This is the easiest go-to pose for us! When we are in a crowd or want to take a quick photo, it's super easy to just look at one another and smile. Our genuine feelings always show and it always looks so romantic.

3. Piggy Back

I love getting on Daniels shoulders when we are in a big crowd for a photo. This is always a really neat way to stand out from the crowd. 9/10 times, we are lucky someone takes a photo when I am on his shoulders because these are rarely planned! But I have seen so many similar photos that are planned and this is always a good idea for a pose!

4. Cheeky Smooch

Kiss the other on the cheek. This is such a cute and easy pose and it can be added to any other pose too. It really doesn't matter who kisses who, this is always a flattering move for photos. Being kissed brings out your best features, I love how natural and happy we both look in these photos. I feel like we don't have to work hard for a good photo when we pose like this because the one being kissed is automatically beaming!

5. Holding Hands

Be playful and hold hands! This usually always comes out pretty cute. Whether you are looking at each other or away at the same thing, this is a really fun pose to do while taking photos. Just be genuine and have fun with it again, the more natural, the better!
